Sarah Rafferty

While still in high school in prep, Sarah was bit by the acting bug at an extremely young age. When her drama teacher caught her cutting across his lawn in an effort not to miss field hockey practice he told the girl to stay off practice and become part of the cast of Richard III and thus began her love affair with acting. Sarah chose to combine her love of acting and the academics she pursued by taking two majors in English at Hamilton College. Her junior year, she was a theatre student in London as well as Oxford. She was encouraged to learn about the arts and sciences by her parents. The mother of her is the chairperson of the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT and her father being a painter. The education she received and her natural talent clearly paid off. The actress has appeared on many TV programs, such as Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Without a Trace CSI Miami and Bones and feature films, including: Four Single Fathers and Falling For Grace along with numerous stage productions that are professionally produced, such as Gemini as well as As You Like It. Sarah's acting work on television is complemented by her role as an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association. She speaks often on this subject. Sarah hosted the annual Sardi's event for the past three years, and also spoke at the final Sardi's event of the group in March. Sarah lives on both east and west coasts with her partner and two daughters. She also regularly travels between the east and west coasts of Toronto for jobs.
